The software is free to download, and the features range from simple edits to complex effects. For example, you can integrate music, add sound effects and insert subtitles. You can even share your video on social media directly from the app.
Videoshop is ideal for creators who want to edit a video on their iOS or Android device rapidly. However, it isn’t quite suitable for longer-form videos. It is also not ideal if you want a solution to host your on-demand content. The app is purely for creation and not so much for maintaining and monetizing your content on the platform.

Magisto
Magisto is quite different from Videoshop in that it is a fully automated video creation and editing tool. It’s powered by AI (artificial intelligence), making it a more premium video creation platform.
The platform goes through three phases:

With their AI algorithm, Magisto selects a video or image’s premium sections and merges them into one new video. You can take the created video and add music or filters to it. Magisto also lets you record clips from within the app to make the process more streamlined.
On the downside, Magisto is stricter with their tiered plans. They have particular criteria for each plan, limiting creators on a basic plan. For example, the base plan called Premium is $9.99/month. But you can only make videos that are up to ten minutes long. It also doesn’t include the iStock library available on the Professional and Business plans.

Animoto
Animoto sells itself as an all-in-one platform for video creation. One of their core features is that they offer a simple and accessible platform to create professional pieces.
They offer creators the best of both worlds to create short video clips or longer-form videos like tutorials. Both types are supported on Animoto, and the software allows you to add music, text, filters, or themes to your videos. This platform is very similar to Magisto in its features and capabilities.
In addition to this, Animoto lets you create straightforward videos – and by simple, we mean simple. You can make a video using only photos and text, without even shooting any footage.
Animoto even offers a free online video editor to customers! But, like with anything else in life – the free version is limited. If you’re looking for an advanced editor – go with one of their two paid tiers. These are better equipped to develop and edit your videos – and watermark-free!

Animaker
Animaker specializes in video making, short video or GIF creation, and live video editing. They call this feature the ‘Swiss army knife’ of creativity. Animaker enables creators to do many different tasks through their single platform.
The software is easy to use and includes drag and drop to upload, recording, transition effects, and animations. Animaker offers six video styles; infographics, 2D, handcraft, 2.5D, whiteboard, and typography. These are a great range of video styles and make it easy for creators to quickly identify which type they desire for a specific video they’re creating.
It’s important to note that some of the features like multi-moving and recording are only available in the pro version of the platform. Enterprise features take video creation to the next level. It includes multi-user collaboration, file management and an in-app messenger. Enterprise caters for large-scale video development – but comes at a price too.

Moovly

Like Mastera, Moovly is also known for having good customer service. This is an element that many video creation tools aren’t very good at. Moovly is great if you want to create marketing videos with some flair. However, it’s no high-end professional video editor.

Adobe Premiere Pro also offers free stock video from a library that includes over 6,000 high-quality video clips, including over 5,000 of those available in 4K.
Most creators using Adobe Premiere Pro do enjoy the interface. It is flexible and allows you to create custom workspaces if you prefer. The one complaint that has come up is that the interface doesn’t include a search box to find help, content, or commands. A search bar would be quicker and more efficient – we hope that they add this feature in the future!
Overall, Adobe Premiere Pro is one of the more elite video creations and editing software on this list. However, it does cater more to enterprises than individual creators.

You can also make logos using their AI-enabled module. The logo creator module automatically makes logos based on your description. Use RenderForest to create posters, business cards, and other graphics and illustrations.
RenderForest is known for its ease of use and simplistic interface. Many users feel like the dashboard makes it easy to add songs or text to videos without having much video editing skills.
However, some freelancers don’t love them for their pricing model. There is a significant difference between their annual and monthly subscription prices. For example, their Pro package, when billed annually, is $19.99 per month. But if you choose to have it billed monthly, it is $49.99. That is over double the annual billing price – and for some creators that don’t want to commit to a year – it just seems like a lot.

Viewbix is somewhat different and not a big contender in the video content creation world. However, it does stand out in terms of its analytics and intelligence of using data the right way. It’s a robust video marketing tool to have in your back pocket.

ScreenFlow is another product by Telestream. This screen recording and video editing solution is targeted toward educators, vloggers, marketers, and more.

The video editing interface is quite impressive, too – you can easily edit your video and then publish it directly onto platforms like Vimeo, YouTube, Facebook, or the Telestream Cloud. You can also do the traditional export of the video to your desktop.
Although, be mindful of the actual user experience of the recording. You need to use specific keys to stop the recording, and if you happen to forget those keys, you may need to close the application to stop the recording.
All in all, it’s a versatile tool that helps you simultaneously record screens from multiple sources. But it may not have as advanced video editing and video hosting features that other platforms have on this list.
